Senior Management AnalystRepresentative Duties Prepares extensive administrative analyses, studies, and research projects, such as evaluating work unit standards, output measures, staffing requirements, and equipment usage levels; Prepares projections of expenses and revenues in order to determine the cost of new programs; Coordinates preparation of and monitors division, department or City budget, including product and vendor research and time cost projections; Drafts, reviews and monitors contracts with non-City agencies; Prepares charts, tables and graphs for presentation of data; Prepares responses to federal and state agency audits; Serves as a liaison for the department in its contacts with other City departments, agencies, representatives and members of the public and businesses; Makes written or oral presentations of recommendations to department directors, other management staff, members of the public and business community, and the City Council, when necessary Supervises departmental support staff; Leads departmental and inter-departmental project teams; Selects and may design new methods and techniques for obtaining solutions; Assists in policy formation and prepares departmental or City-wide policies for implementation; Requests legal opinions.
Qualification Guidelines Education:
Equivalent to at least a Bachelor's degree with a major in public or business administration or a related field.
Graduate coursework is desirable.
Experience:
At least three years administrative/analytical experience in a municipal government setting and at least one year of supervisory experience (supervisory experience may include lead experience or supervision of administrative support and professional staff).
Special Requirements:
Possession of a current valid Class C California Driver's License or the ability to arrange transportation for field travel.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
