El Cajon, CA El Cajon, CA Full-time Full-time $25 an hour $25 an hour We are wanting to add a full-time experienced Sign Fabricator and Installer to our team.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in building signs from the beginning, self motivated and also be able to work as part of a team, have a willingness to learn new skills and possess a positive 'can do' attitude along with having a well rounded background in fabricating & installing signs of all types.
Skills required:
Minimum industry experience 3 yrs Fabrication - making post & panel signs, cutting materials using a panel saw, applying dimensional letters to substrates, weed & tape, apply printed and cut vinyl, painting, etc.
Installation - including but not limited to the following:
sign repair/refurbishment & installation of monument signs, way finding signs, post & panel, dimensional letters, rigid/ADA signs, banners, vehicle & window graphics, etc.
Ability to use sign making hand and power tools Confident using basic carpentry tools, shovel, post hole digger and ladders Must be able to occasionally lift 70 lbs and work on construction sites Possess very good communication skills Work in a timely, organized and methodical manner Occasionally requires travel outside of the county Occasionally requires work on the weekend.
Be safety conscious Possess basic computer skills Light construction, painting and wide format printing experience a plus Additional duties may be assigned.
Must have a clean Drivers License.
Must speak English and be authorized to work in the US.
