Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mammo Records/Scheduler to join our Radiology Department.
This vital role involves managing and organizing mammography records, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our patients.
The ideal candidate will be a compassionate individual with a knack for meticulous organization and a passion for improving women's health care.
Key
Responsibilities:
Manage and update mammography records with accuracy and confidentiality.
Schedule mammography appointments, coordinating with patients and radiologists to ensure timely and efficient care.
Follow up with patients for appointment reminders and rescheduling as needed.
Work closely with radiology staff to manage daily workflow and patient load.
Handle patient inquiries and provide information on preparation for mammography appointments.
Assist in the preparation of reports and compliance documentation for regulatory standards.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide exceptional patient care.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in radiology or mammography scheduling, is highly desired.
Proficiency in medical software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and empathy, with an ability to interact positively with patients and staff.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Must speak Spanish.
